Energy production residuals and products such as coal tar and coal tar sludges, coke, cinders, creosote, or petroleum hydrocarbon-containing wastewaters can be released from sites such as coal-burning facilities, manufactured gas plants, tar plants, wood-preserving facilities, bulk oil production and storage, and chemical manufacturing sites.
