In 2019, Mundell & Associates became involved in environmental sampling of homes in Franklin, Indiana because of potential concerns with a historic industrial site. This work includes evaluating potential impacts from both subsurface groundwater as well as ambient air and working with stakeholders in the community.

A group of concerned parents are the drivers behind an investigation into chemical contamination at sites around Franklin, Indiana.
After a growing number of children were diagnosed with cancer, advocates create an organization called “If It Was Your Child” and enlisted the help of a national environmental non profit group called Edison Wetlands to investigate potential contamination.
Mundell & Associates has been part of the ongoing investigation with Edison Wetlands, conducting air samplings, geophysical surveys and participating in community forums.
