August 7, 2018 Topic: Company News

We’re all in!

Mundell & Associates was featured company of the World Company Day website this year. (Read the full article).

Do the goals of World Company Day sound familiar? Yes, we were founded on these principles and strive to exemplify them in our daily work!

Goal 1

Build a more collaborative and meaningful culture in our companies

Goal 2

Treat customers and suppliers as partners in shaping a better world

Goal 3

Create products and services that will add meaningful value to society

By starting with our internal relationships and business practices, we all can build companies that will bring about sustainable good and make a difference! Today we met for a “Pit Stop” to refresh and reload. We rolled The Company Cube and were tasked with “Share time, expertise, and yourself”.

One colleague stated – “everyone is an expert in something – let’s all help each other out!”

World Company Day was officially launched on 15th of August in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam as a world-wide initiative by Shape the World Conference. The annual event aims to raise consciousness about the role of companies in shaping a better world.

Consider Worm Composting for Small Spaces

Getting that garden ready? Set up a home for some small, red tiger worms, which you can buy. Be sure to use a wooden box with holes and a lid for a worm compost bin. Add a layer of moist, shredded newspaper and soil for their bedding, and then feed them once a week with vegetable peelings wrapped in newspaper or paper towels. Every two or three months, the rich, fine compost will be ready to use.
