In August, Mundell & Associates (Mundell) team members had the honor of participating in the 9th Indiana Water Summit, hosted by White River Alliance at the Biltwell Event Center in Indianapolis.
The Summit brought together stakeholders, policymakers, scientists, and community leaders from across Indiana to address today’s water challenges and shape a stronger future for our state’s water resources.
Discussions explored critical topics including groundwater quality, projects and permitting, water planning, the role of local government, PFAS, microplastics, drainage, and the intersection of economic development, water resources, and data centers.
Mundell President John Mundell shared insights from our experience remediating groundwater. Principal Geologist Rachel Walker discussed our work with local government ordinance to ensure protection of Marion County drinking water wellfields and to educate businesses on preventing chemical spills through the Marion County Wellfield Education Corporation.
Thank you to White River Alliance for bringing Indiana’s water community together—and to everyone working toward a sustainable and resilient water future for our state.
