John Mundell receives Purdue University’s prestigious Civil Engineering Alumni Achievement Award

April 14, 2026 Topic: Company News

We are proud to celebrate Mundell & Associates President, John Mundell, as a recipient of the 2026 Civil Engineering Alumni Achievement Award from Lyles School of Civil and Construction Engineering at Purdue University!

This prestigious honor recognizes alumni whose careers reflect excellence, leadership, and meaningful contributions to the civil engineering profession—and John exemplifies each of these qualities.

From his early work as a geotechnical engineer to leading complex environmental remediation projects around the world, John has dedicated his career to solving some of the most pressing environmental and infrastructure challenges of our time. Through founding our firm, he has helped guide projects for global organizations, governments, and communities—always with a focus on sustainability and positive impact.

We are especially inspired by John’s commitment to using business as a force for good, supporting global initiatives in environmental stewardship, poverty alleviation, and climate action.

Congratulations also to the full class of 2026 honorees— Benjamin Colucci, Jeffrey Meredith, Julie Roehm, Beena Sukumaran, Jeffrey Russell, and Myung Sagong! They are an inspiring group of leaders shaping infrastructure, advancing environmental solutions, and strengthening communities around the world.

Please join us in celebrating this well-deserved recognition and the continued impact of Purdue Civil Engineering alumni everywhere.
