John Mundell continues participation on the IndyRezone technical committee efforts to rewrite the Marion County Wellhead Protection Ordinance for the City’s water supplies. Mundell also provides wellfield education services for the Marion County Wellfield Education Corporation, providing consulting to the more than 400 businesses located in these wellhead protection zones.

Irvington organizations and Mundell collaborate in showing of environmental film: Better Bones & Gardens during the monthly Irvington Green Hour in Indianapolis. John Mundell Presents at Indiana Geologists Meeting
John Mundell presents at the monthly Indiana Geologists meeting on the topic of “Geophysical Imaging for Supportive Evaluation of the Ball State University Geothermal Wellfields.” The talk highlighted Mundell’s experience with geophysical characterization of geothermal wellfields and how these techniques provide improved information for distribution system designs.
Mundell Participates in Earth Day Indiana
Mundell staff participates in the annual Earth Day Indiana festival by hosting an education booth. The festival, which started in the 1970s, features exhibits on environmental protection, conservation of natural resources and sustainable living. It is one of the most successful Earth Day festivals in the country, with free admission to the outdoor event.
Mundell Presents at the Interfaith Institute
John Mundell, Pilar Cuadra, and Julie Mundell speak at the Indiana University East Interfaith Institute in Richmond, Indiana on “The Economy of Communion: Businesses Engaging Interfaith & Poverty Solutions.” The presentation included experiences of Mundell’s work in community activities and poverty eradication through the Economy of Communion business network.
