White River Alliance Commitment to Watershed Protection Award

October 9, 2018 Topic: Company News

Mundell & Associates attended the White River Dragon Boat Race & Festival in Indianapolis to receive the “White River Alliance Commitment to Watershed Protection Award” on behalf of the Marion County Wellfield Education Corporation, the Marion County Public Health Department, and the City of Indianapolis, for our work together in protecting the City’s drinking water supplies.

The Exceptional Commitment to Watershed Protection Award honors the work of an individual or organization who has demonstrated a strong commitment to water resources and/or watershed protection. Award winning projects model responsible action, sustainability and resiliency principles, and are implemented in harmony with the natural and social surroundings.

Special recognition to all Mundell staff members who are working every week making this happen, especially Rachel Walker, Haley Waldkoetter (now back in graduate school), Eric Chojnowski, and Luis Gonzalez!

Help Protect Your Nearby Wetland

No matter where you live, chances are there is a wetland nearby. (Wetlands go by many names: estuaries, bogs, swamps, marshes, playa lakes, and more). Keep lawns and driveways free of pet waste, fertilizers and motor oil. These pollutants can wash into storm drains and eventually reach a wetland.
