Each year the Indiana Department of Environmental Management accepts new members into its Environmental Stewardship Program, a group of businesses who have demonstrated a standard of environmental compliance, implemented and will maintain an environmental management system, and are committed to continuous environmental improvement.
The ESP program is voluntary and open to any regulated entity in Indiana regardless of type, size, or complexity. ESP members receive public recognition, are eligible to receive regulatory flexibility, attend an annual conference and have opportunities to network with other program members to discuss pollution prevention successes and future initiatives.
Any facility who looks for opportunities to continuously improve, reduce waste and improve efficiency, and reduce your footprint on Indiana’s environment is encouraged to apply!
Visit IDEM’s Environmental Stewardship Program page for specific application steps. Spring applications are due May 31 with another application process open September 1, 2021.
