Each year geophysicists, scientists, and engineers from around the country gather for the annual Symposium on the Application of Geophysics to Engineering and Environmental Problems (SAGEEP).
SAGEEP is recognized internationally as the leading conference on the practical application of shallow geophysics. The 5 day program includes over oral and poster presentations, equipment demonstrations, short courses, student events and well-known keynote speakers.
This year Mundell Project Geologist Ryan Brumbaugh and Staff Geologist Kevin Gildea attended the event in Denver Colorado. Kevin presented a series of case studies published by Mundell in the “Transportation and Infrastructure Geophysics” session. The presentation entitled “The Use of Geophysical Surveys for Enhanced Site Characterization on Infrastructure Projects”, was also authored by Mundell & Associates president John Mundell and Project Geologist Ryan Brumbaugh.
