Our unique approach will allow you to respond to both large and not-so-large environmental and earth science concerns.

Integrated Earth Science & Engineering

Our staff’s range of expertise offers you an integrated approach to the most complex earth and environmental problems. Implementing strategies such as the use of geophysical surveys and hydrogeologic modeling allow for improved remedial design development and implementation.

Innovative Solutions

When you put together a scientific knowledge and a person centered approached, you produce outcomes that are innovative and unique. Mundell & Associates has successfully consulted for some of the largest multinational corporations on the planet, advised non-governmental agencies and Federal regulatory bodies, and supported many other engineering and consulting firms who have relied on us for our technical experience, judgment and commitment.

We have developed a reputation for tackling the ‘not-so-easy’ and ‘not-so-small’ environmental problems that arise where wrong decisions can mean significant liability, consequential costs and multi-year periods for achieving goals.

Considering the Human Person and the Earth

We pride ourselves in being service-oriented and bending-over-backwards to exceed our client’s expectations. Yet, it is not only for you, our client. Environmental projects can also impact our communities, our neighbors and families, and even the people we hire or do business with. We bring to every project a unique sensitivity to all stakeholders – this drives us to give our best efforts, knowing the widespread impact that decisions can have.

Our commitment to the environment in our work also extends to our company culture and our workplace. We have taken steps to improve our facilities and have practices in place to recycle, conserve energy, reduce waste, and use sustainable products in our everyday tasks.

With our planet and this person centered approach in mind, we developed The Earth Cube, a motivational tool for supporting a healthy and sustainable planet.

Reduce Erosion and Preserve Topsoil

Land degradation has increased around the world as our human activities pollute or degrade the quality of soil, affecting not only food production but the overall ecosystems. What can we do locally to preserve our soil?

  • Rotate the crops you grow in your garden.
  • Use local mulch, especially in bare stops to help plants ground and prevent water runoff.
  • Plant large plants such as trees and hedges to reduce wind speed.
  • Minimize soil compaction by create permanent walkways and encouraging people to stay on them.
