On Thursday, December 3rd, John Mundell participated in the Climate Change Action Demonstration. The demonstration, held by the Archdiocese of Indianapolis Creation Care Team, took place on the steps of Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral downtown.
Participants held signs with slogans such as “Care for our common home” and “Our common call to protect God’s creation unites us together” and had a “Catholic Climate Petition” for passers-by to sign. John noted the team probably received 200 honks as cars headed out of the city for the day.
The demonstration was in solidarity with the COP21 meeting taking place in Paris which is supported by Pope Francis.
