Rachel Walker, Haley Waldkoetter and Holly Saniga of Mundell & Associates spent a scientrific afternoon last week with about 25 students of Our Lady of Lourdes after-school science club.
After hearing a presentation about environmental science and the hydrologic cycle, each student ‘became’ a water droplet and went through the interactive water cycle. Some of the kids who got ‘stuck’ as a cloud or ocean became frustrated, but this was a good teaching point to learn where most of the world’s water resides and that some drops of water have maybe never left the ocean!
Thanks for a fun afternoon OLL! We hope to come again!
